This campaign is an organized effort to gather as much cardboard as possible during the week when students are moving into residence halls. The National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP) and Environmental Service Committee (ESC) also help to organize this event which takes place once a year before the fall semester. Many incoming students are purchasing alarm clocks, coffee pots, printers, and small refrigerators, all of which usually come packaged in cardboard. Instead of throwing cardboard out to the dumpster, monitors are stationed at each dorm to collect cardboard and inform new students about recycling on campus.
