Texas Recycles Day is a statewide campaign aimed towards education and awareness about the benefits of waste reduction and recycling. The official date is November 15th. Student workers and staff of the Texas State Recycling program will set up in the quad around this time at an informational booth to answer any questions you may have about recycling within the Texas State community. Recycling t-shirts, buttons, and pens will be available for those who take part in various recycling games. Look for the Texas Recycles Day banner!
The Environmental Conservation Organization (ECO) will also be in the quad to support our recycling effort.
Texas Recycles Day works in concert with America Recycles Day and State of Texas Alliance for Recycling (STAR) to provide communities with the resources Texas Recycles Day has to offer. For more info, check out the Texas Recycles Day Website.
